Today, Ms. Olympia K. Anastasopoulou assumed her duties as Special Secretary at the Ministry of Justice, with responsibility for Alternative Dispute Resolution.
The honorary appointment by the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and the Minister of Justice, Giorgos Floridis, underscores the significant national and governmental importance attributed to the promotion of alternative dispute resolution as a strategic choice to accelerate the administration of justice, the need to reform the relevant legislative framework, and the systematic monitoring and implementation of this framework in terms of efficiency, investment, and outward orientation.
The newly established Special Secretariat, aiming to promote Mediation, Arbitration, and Judicial Mediation, will immediately begin work on drafting the new Alternative Dispute Resolution Code, which will incorporate best international practices.
